Dual Honeycomb Shades
Available with collections of Hunter Douglas honeycomb shades, dual cellular shades feature two different shades, joined in the middle. One portion is typically light-filtering or translucent. The other is considered room darkening. Your window can be covered entirely with the light-filtering portion, completely with room darkening, or with a balance of both. This coverage means that no matter what, you can have valuable energy efficiency and effective control over the light. When you choose the light filtering fabrics for the top portion of dual honeycomb shades, you can experience the top down effect of lighting.
Secondary Blackout Roller
Quite popular for a wide range of light control, adding a secondary blackout roller shade to your favorite designer shade will transform your home. The front shade handles the light-filtering control, while the secondary shade is responsible for room darkening. Even though the two shades share the same headrail, you can operate them independently of one another. Double roller blinds became well-known for their ability to offer a wider range of control than what is possible with just one. This Hunter Douglas dual roller shade system is available for a number of our window shade collections.
Secondary Honeycomb Shade
Exclusive to the Provenance Woven Wood Shade collection, you can experience the beauty of woven natural fibers that filter light, without feeling like you have to sacrifice full light control or temperature control. With these dual roman shades, you can sit back and enjoy the beautiful atmosphere created by the filtered light that streams through the woven textured fabrics. Then, when additional light control and room darkening is necessary, or if the window shade needs to insulate your interiors, lower the secondary honeycomb shade into place. It’s like having the best of both worlds.
