Renovating and redesigning a space is no easy feat. Luckily, the right team of designers can make it simple. Skyline Window Coverings recently worked on Sixtysix magazine’s editor-in-chief, Chris Force’s, Chicago loft remodel. Take a look at this incredible space.
The Space.
This Chicago loft remodel took place in the Chicago’s Printing House Row landmark district. The loft itself is full of history; it was designed by George C. Simmons in 1916 “as a piece of Chicago School architecture.” The owner wanted to create something with meaning. Each and every element was hand picked to create a cohesive, fresh design.
The Window Treatments.
Skyline Window Coverings President, Chrissy Roellchen, and professional designer, Jennefier Martin, worked together with Drapery Avenue to create a stunning look on each window. Force opted for natural linen draperies, which paired perfectly with our Hunter Douglas motorized roller shades.
A Closer Look.
Our team covered all 11 windows in this space with Designer Solar Shades and Designer Roller Shades with PowerView operation. The solar shades allow for gorgeous filtered light, while the bedroom roller shades provide necessary privacy solutions. Each window can effortlessly be adjusted at the touch of a button. Paired with the flowing drapery fabric from Drapery Avenue, this project came together flawlessly.
